We manage more than 6,000 acres of organic alfalfa in Eastern Oregon, to supplement our dairy cows during the winter months in the Willamette Valley when their time out on pasture is limited.

Alfalfa is a legume that naturally carries beneficial nitrogen deep into the soil. We use no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and our crops are certified organic by Oregon Tilth. Our mill processes alfalfa hay into tasty, nutrient dense pellets. Our alfalfa pellets remain low in sugar, and high in protein, calories and digestible fiber. Sized for goats, sheep, cattle, alpacas, horses, rabbits and other ruminants.

Ingredients: Organic sun-cured (ground) alfalfa hay.

Store in a covered, cool and dry environment.

Daily Feeding Guidelines:
– Feed Silver Sage Farms Alfalfa Pellets by weight not volume.
– Feed Silver Sage Farms Alfalfa Pellets at a minimum of 1.5% of animal’s body weight. For good digestive health, long stemmed roughage should also be a part of animal’s daily diet.
– Sage Farms Alfalfa Pellets can be soaked prior to feeding.
– Always provide free access to clean, fresh water.
